  • Position Summary

    GOLDMARK Property Management is seeking a Project Technician to complete rehab and repair of multi-family apartment units around the MSP Metro. Some of the duties will include bath fixture replacement, drywall construction and repair, small concrete replacement, removal and construction of walls, removal and replacement of cabinetry, and similar work. Incumbent may complete projects working independently or as part of a small team. The Project Technician may also perform general maintenance of assigned properties in a cost-effective, timely manner, contributing to resident satisfaction and retention.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure quality and timely completion of construction and repair projects.
    • Ensure quality and timely completion of supervised capital projects.
    • Provide ongoing input on continued property improvements for budget consideration. Participate in Site meetings as needed.
    • Ensure the attractive internal and external appearance of all buildings and grounds and reporting maintenance needs.
    • Participate in ongoing training to build and maintain knowledge and skills required for the position.
    • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Travel to multiple sites and/or locations is required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Experience, Education, and Licensure:

    • Previous remodeling experience preferred, but not required.
    •  Prior carpentry, flooring, and general maintenance experience required.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
    • High School or equivalent education with one to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
    • A well-organized and self directed individual who is a team player.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must have own hand tools, a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
    • Must be willing to learn and utilize electronic work systems.
    • Normal work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

    Maximum Compensation

    $ 22.00/Hr.

    Minimum Compensation

    $ 19.00/Hr.
